| It easy to determine if the rack is in the car, and not very difficult with it removed by using the knuckle to turn it. A TT rack turns just over 2 1/4 revolutions from stop to stop and the NA rack turns nearly 2 3/4 revolutions. Visually we haven't found any differences short of removing the pinion gear which is noticiably different. If you buy a rebuilt rack from virtually anyone (aside from Z1) it's a crapshoot as to which one you will receive. You'll most likely receive an NA if you buy a TT. We've determined from some research that the companies rebuilding them do not check for the differences if they are even aware.
